Taiwan : Fruits

If reincarnation really takes place I would like to come back as a fruit specialist in Taiwan.....Looks at the photos..all the fruits are sweet and very cheap too....We could not finish eating all the fruits we bought.

This custard apple is huge in size and extremely sweet. Unfortunately because of new laws we could not bring back these fruits.

Peaches.

Strawberries

Plums

This fruit is a cross of green apple and peach...Don't know its name in English.

Cantaloupes (Ha Mi Kua)

I could be a fruitarian in Taiwan.

Sure Wenn
When you go there there will be other seasonal fruits. Each season has a different set of fruits...

Have a good time. Spring is a good time. I was there at the end of winter.

Did you try the applepeach fruit?

Was it sweet?

Looks like taiwanese love their fruits a lot.

Aunty Bee Yong and I age quite a bit of the custard apple...(Liing Keen) and it is really soft and sweet. But we were told we could not bring it into Malaysia. Quite perishable like sour sop...

Yes Taiwanese love fruits...and very good fruits...we should start a big bamboo plantation.

I went to the market this morning to find the custard apple(buah delima, and coincidently my new office is along a jalan delima. unfortunately no kedai buah that sells delima here) The one in your picture looks huge! What sort of fertilizer do they use. I'm looking at a very small and slightly sour custard apple right now.
