16th Sept would always get me singing Fairland Sarawak...it is just old habits which don't die....
And I am wondering whether I should say "Happy Birthday SArawak"? How old is Sarawak?
Should Sarawak be given its founding year as 1842 when James Brooke was given the right to rule and called the land "Sarawak"?

In 1963 Sept 16th Sarawak and Sabah (the two East Malaysian states )gained independence from the British Colonial Government and HELPED FORM THE NEW NATION OF Malaysia which has 11 states in Peninsular Malaysia.

The above news article shows the great difference between Sabah and Sarawak politics. Sabahans love their country by standing up to defend their rights from being encroached on by Malayan political parties.
In Sarawak 4 Malayan parties dominate our lives- PBB BN (UMNO puppet) DAP, PAS and PKR. Sarawak politicians how do you serve your country by being led by foreign Malayan politicians???
