I am always intrigued by the fact that there are so many tribes in the world wearing loin clothes. I cannot help wondering if they share the same origin. Did they origin from the same continent?

Charles....mankind's original textile was a wrap around - the loin cloth...and you can have many references in the Bible.

Ah Ngao...the loin cloth is hard to remove once it is well tied...Hence the Sumo wrestlers wear it....

Ann....may be the old Iban man was a little senile and had arthritic hands...so could not tie the knots...

But then when men get older they are not too worried about exposing "whatever" they have...hehehehehe
