Fujian festival.
Xunpu Village is found in a small fishing village in the Donghai Community of Fengze District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It is home to the descendants of Arabs from ancient times. Although they have been married to the local Han people, the legacy of Central Asia still remains, mainly shows in the clam shell house and the head flower of the Xunpu women. The women usually put on the head flower, wear lilac earrings, wear large blouses and wide-leg pants, thus their clothing style forms a unique style. The culture of head flower was laid down from Central Asia since the Song Dynasty.
Fisherwomen from Xunpu in southeast China's Fujian province are well-known for their diligence
and honest characters, and their special headwear and stylish costumes are very famous. Xunpu
fisherwomen keep their long since they were little girls until adulthood,
they tie up long hair as updos with different shining topknots and fresh flowers.
