I heard that it was in Hong Kong that a head chef decided to add evaporated milk t o make his simple mi hoon more interesting.
Now it is a dish that has a legend and its popularity is growing in Asia.
It is a popular dish in Miri, found in several shops in Krokop and Miri city itself.
I have the seafood and milk flavours. Great fusion !!
(Perhaps it was because of t his dish that fish head now fetches premium price all over the world. They used to be given free to customers who came to buy fish.....aha!!)
