Sepupok : Big headed River Prawn Noodles

It is very interesting how my friend Chen Lu (Mei Sieng) were together visiting Sepupok  and to find ourself all speaking Hin Hua!!

As we spoke to each other in Foochow at the table before we ordered our food, we were surprised how friendly the shopkeepers were.

I had known the young lady for sometime as over the years I have come to this coffee for a break of journey from Miri to Batu Niah.

We ordered our big headed prawns to share as the shop was offering us 58 ringgit a kg. A little expensive.

What surprised us was the wife of the towkay came out to speak to us ...she still has her strong Hin Hua accent..and Mee Sieng started talking in Hin Hua to her. Mee Sieng speaks good Hin Hua and I understand a lot of the dialect.

The Towkay Neo had come from Bintawa to marry this towkay of Sepupok. Amazing story!!
