Thoroughness is a Good Character Trait
A chance encounter allowed me to teach a young boy how to arrange hundreds of cups of tea and coffee to be served as refreshments after Church service last week.
He was a polite learner and quietly did what I told him immediately.
He placed all the cups with their handles at three o'clock so that they were easy for the participants to pick up. I taught him a simple lesson in banquetting. And he was very thorough with his work!!
Excellent performance and a very quiet performer too.
Click on the photo and see how deep in thought he was when at work. Thoroughness is a good character!!
I wish him joy of work in his future and that his future seniors bosses will appreciate and love him!! May he be blessed with people who lend him a helping hand. (Foochows always believe that someone great will guide us ashore......Tai/kehng hsiiung ngian)

Good of you to transfer your knowledge to the youjnger people.
I always think that teenagers are really great to teach especially if you are sincere and passionate about teaching.
Their future is actually in our hands.
I am sure this boy is going to be a good adult in the future.
I remember the kindergarten I went to. We had those plastic cups. Teachers put our names at the bottom. And then we had hard biscuits and very thin Milo. The shy girls sometimes lost their biscuits to the bigger bullies. Funny I can remember that.

It is important that we older people take the initiative to teach younger ones with joy in the heart. But sometimes we too feel rejected...Ageism is a serious problem in the West!!
Ngoh - a teacher has a special heart....and that special heart goes a long long way.....
Justin - sometimes we do remember some very small incidents in our lives. Perhaps you were very compassionate even then about social injustice...Keep up your good work!!
