Here are some photos for you to see for yourself if you would like a try. Prices are as usual on the higher end. But if you like a different atmosphere you can give it a shot.
The order comes in a huge basket tray for each person. You get a bit of sambal and some keropok. And you are also served rice which goes with your main dish which may be beef or chicken prepared according to your choice from the menu.
This is deep fried chicken.
And this is the prawn platter (or should be basket) with white rice and some omelette.
You are definitely assured of a good filling dinner. However it has an open air concept without air conditioning. Perhaps you might even want to dine outside or even upstairs.
But the teak decor would transport you to another world and you won't even think that you are in KL. Hopefully you get a good group like the ones we got when we went there. Quiet and well behaved - and slow and gentle manners.
It was a good evening - well spent with good conversation.
