Gigantic structures are definitely intimidating.
This is the giant Labaan Bridge which will bring hopefully development to the Rajang villages by connecting Sibu with Tanjong Manis (originally Tanjong Mani). More bridges will be built and more infrastructure provided to make this area into a future progressive hub. Hopefully it is not a too little and too late! Too many have abandoned the area because of the political unrest in the 70's. But it will take a lot of political will and gargantuan social effort to bring people and progress back.
Is this a bridge to nowhere? Or will it be a bridge to better life?
