Visiting Zhen Hai Tower in a Heavy Rain

Zhen Hai Lou (heavy rain...)


It was not easy travelling around in Fuzhou city if you have a bit of physical problems. I had a bad knee and I could not really walk very fast and catch up with the younger members of the team.

We were to visit the famous Zhen Hai Lou and the rain started to pour. We were really lucky to be able to hail a taxi which took only four of us. The rest walked quickly to the famous venue.

I must have been careless and dropped my glasses in the taxi when I wiped my face. 

Although it was the first time I experienced a heavy rain in Fuzhou, it was not pleasant because we were in such a hurry and the rain was impeding our movements.

However when we got into the magnificient tower, we were at peace. There was a certain calmness in the building.

the Fuzhou Provincial Government has really spent money to refurbish this Tower.
