What caught my eye at the Borneo Cultural Festival.....

Team work.  Happy together.A uniform always gives women a sense of pride and dignity.

Do you like the expression on the boy's face? Note the little girl with the new era balloon......

Ah Chiong...He is an officer for Boys' Brigade

Abana - my former student - now Vice President of the Sibu Photographic Society..A Canon fan.

Mr. Ting Lik Hie (Calligraphist and retired teacher) -  now almost 80 - good friend of my aunts and uncles.

Chicken wings any one? Lovely beads.

Waiting to do the warrior's dance...This is the Bunga Terong Tattoo - for heroes in the olden days....I did not ask him but I am sure this is a spray job.

A Tale of Two Chiefs (President of the SPS and Chief Operation Officer of the Methodist Message)- They have their own blogs : Steve is owner of "Going Places" and Meng Lei (right) is owner of Rajang Basin.

The name Borneo sounds a little too big for us, because the event is mainly under SMC. We should get more participation from the whole Sarawak, and then Borneo.

Act Locally but think BOrneo even Globally

Dear Anonymous
I agree with you ..Borneo seems a little too big for the event as no one from Kalimantan was there and even Sabah was not even represented. What would Brunei bring to BCF? May be the Sultanate can bring its special rice and Nasi Katok amongst other things.
