Bird Feeding - Every One Cares

A very interesting activity I found in the UK is the feeding of birds by more than half of the population according to a finding. Packed bird feed are found aplenty in supermarkets too.

And it is usually at the beginning of September that parents and their children will go all out to buy a bird table (if theirs is a little old) and lots of bird feed. As winter approaches there will be less food for the birds. What kind hearted many of these people are. So throughout autumn and winter the families will put food out for the birds. But once the appearance of large numkbers of insects and the buds on the trees start to open the birds will now find more natural food in their  surroundings. Isn't nature wonderful when man plays a role in conservation?

A Bird Table.

But however nature is also very kind to the birds too. Almost every house has a tree like this:

Trees bearing these kinds of berries will provide lots of food for the birds.

Because these trees are also very beautiful - they colour the environment with their redness...one can see these trees along most of the roads in London. Some of them are quite tall at more 40 feet. Others are not too tall at 20 feet. But they all bear red berries which are really impactful!!

It is a wonderful fuzzy feeling to know that man and nature are doing their part in feeding birds .

And in the morning it is good to hear bird song and you know there will be soft dew for you to walk on......

Ngao is right, about water dishes and dengue fever, anyway, Sarawak has too much rain for us to water the birds.

My birds help me finish up my rice and slices of bread.
