Imaginative and High Tech Posters : 10th Sarawak General Election

A Bruneian driving into Miri would be faced by this huge election poster upon arrival.

Tan Sri Datuk George Chan - newly buffed up for the 10th General  State Election. His two co-YBs have been put to shame by his newly built up (high tech) muscles. Can you guess whose body he has used? Definitely not Datuk Malek Noor's. In the Chinese newspapers a photo of him showing his muscles was shown...and he said..."Real lah..no cheat one..."

The BN posters have been placed in the most conspicuous of places having staked their claims even before the election date was announced.

BN is also supported by LED in Miri....rural folks are very impressed by this "huge TV in Boulevard"......

(thanks Williamting for this photo - my camera too small....)...

As we often say...advertisements always mislead people.

The PR has also put up their multi lingual posters in RED!!  Not very high tech...no buffing no bluffing if you see it the way many people see it.....

The election allows people to think and weigh very carefully. The vote is sacred in the hands of the individual voter.

May God bless you all.

Thanks Peter...You have summed it up so well...

What is nan nan ngee in Ming Chiang? I suppose that is Kutien> I recognise hui nan yin straight away...I only have to go to Bekenu to see some at night.....heaven't seen qian ma lai for a long time. and I often eat pop pop gee when I collect them myself. I like the orange and ripe ones but they are usually gone. So I collect the green ones and fry them as a stir fry like mee ding.(fern tops)
Do visit again and share your views as I will read your writing in Chinese. Cheers.

Ah Ngao...a few people can see through his antics...but many still love him to bits...especially the SUPP women. Hard to say about Postal Votes too....that is a fantastic ammunition if the election agents are not careful enough.
