Domestic Flights in Australia

Visiting other people's country is always a learning experience.

While at home we are used to our comfort zone and the best of home services and other familiar conveniences we need to learn new ways.

Australia is fast developing and many facilities are automated.

Here are two examples of their conveniences in the Perth domestic airport. We were crossing the continent from Perth to Brisbane by Virgin Blue (just one day before Sir Richard Branson arrived to change the name to Virgin Australia!!).

Midnight to Brisbane...one can check in on-line. Very easy and no long queues or squashing here and there....

ATM next to drinks dispenser.....I had an empty cola bottle in my bag given by my son which was so useful throughout my stay in Oz......water cost Aus$2.00 - 4.00 per 500 ml.
