When were you teaching in MSS? I have to pay you respect that you are also my teacher.
I taught in MSS from 1976 to 1987 Dec.
and then from 1987 to 2005 I was teaching in Miri...
your FIL's longhouse is incredible. Steal is common to all people.
Yes Ann...the real Iban Adat is almost mythical but I actually have seen the honesty in the last 35 years!! Theft is a great shame..and the communal spirit is very strong.
Have you seen Kampong people leaving their money on the roadside stall after they paid for their fruits? No one is looking except God. The money never disappears!! Except when some town people start stealing!!
Hi Sarawakiana, this is good. Here in Canada we have it in our driving license form whether we agree to donate our organs should anything happen to us.
But I wonder how we go to Heaven with something or things missing? Ha ha.

Dear Uncle Lee...That's a good way to "clip on" your donor's card. We carry a separate card here...
Yes many people ask about having donated eyes and heart...what happens in heaven? I would say as an angel you are "completely new" in heaven.

in NZ, we also have the road side stall, but people have become greedy and steal.
Ann...thanks. I wonder if we do a world wide survey...and find out how many groups of people won't steal from a road side stall....Interesting...
