Sabah Snake Grass 忧遁草
For many months my neighbour was frantic trying to look for Sabah snake grass. There was none to be bought in the Tamu. Its scientific name is Clinacanthus.
According to her it is a must have as it can cure cancer.
In fact many people have started growing it in Miri.
why is it named Sabah Snake Grass?
It has been used in Thailand but some people say that its origin is Malaysia. It is very good for mouth ulcers in known cases.
It has been traditionally used in Thailand for the treatment of Herpes infections.
