Kuih Cuan (Kuih Rose)

You don't need a festival to make this delectable kuih. It can be made any time.

In fact if you have nothing to do, that is the best time. The recipe is in BM. It is quite easy to make once you get the hang of it. Tip: Use fresh oil.

  • 290gm tepung beras
  • 50 gm tepung gandum
  • 400ml santan
  • 170gm gula
  • 150ml air + 1 sudu teh kapur
  • 1 biji telur
  • 1/2 sudu teh garam
  • minyak secukupnya untuk menggoreng

Cara-cara

  1. campurkan semua bahan. kacau sebati. tapis.
  2. panaskan minyak. letak acuan dalam minyak. bila dah panas, celup acuan dalam adunan, masuk semula dalam minyak tadi.
  3. biar sebentar, baru alihkan acuan. goreng hingga masak.
