Kunming Here I come!!
Kunming. It is the modern capital city and transportation hub of China's Yunnan Province.
There is a large student population there and the climate is temperate and very comfortable. So there is no severe winter for any one who may not like the cold climate of other parts of China.
I was delighted to be accompanied by a few ladies and gentlemen from Miri ...and to meet up with two very delightful hosts (both from Sarawak) who have been living in Kunming for sometime. We were to many places but what excited me most was the fact that I could walk in the small lanes and meet up with so many local people and taste their street food.
And of course I did some photography and learned some local history.
