Eggs are sold tied up in a straw boat like this. You can buy them from roadside hawkers who carry them around.
Some even sell the eggs from door to door by vendors on three wheel carts or bicycles.
Think of one being 50 sen our money. That's quite expensive.
When I could not walk any more I had the luxury of taking a taxi, not easy to get either, and give my friends a ride, for our money 5 ringgit to our hotel. It was worth it. All the groceries could go into the tax while some others would walk home.
