We took the rural road to Xian You's outskirts in search of some Heng Hua ancestors' home villages. Along the road, on the hillsides, we met several hawkers selling pipa. We also saw a few girls plucking pipa from the trees.
We spent some time enjoying the fresh fruits. Some of us had the best pipa in our lives, first time, to eat pipa, fresh from the trees. One whole basket cost us 20 ringgit. And we also learned how to peel the skin off by scrapping with our finger nails first slowly and then peel. Marvellous. So juicy and sweet.
