Professor Ling Fu Ren and Zi Chuang

No photo description available.

He grew up in Sg. Teku, in Sibu, Sarawak and opted to return to China to take up medicine. Today he is a professor in medicine.

A very humble man and patient, he took us to look at the routes taken by the Heng Hua Pioneers to come out of the villages , to catch the boat to Nanyang. Zi Chuang is one of the furthest villages on the hills away from Xian You. The Heng Hua ancestors must have taken a few days to hike from the village to Xian You.

Today Zi Chuang village has doctors, teachers and shops. Cars are also owned by the villagers while public transport is readily available.
