After crossing the body of water from the mainland to Nan Nik Island by ferry, we saw how the Heng Hua people lived. They are very hardworking and depend a lot of the sea for their living. Vegetable growing is a bit difficult as the soil is sandy.
The products from the sea include abalone, kelp, clams and many other sea food. Goats grow well here because they can take the rough and rocky land. Although the pasture is not excellent, they do grow fat .
