One of the most important products of Putien is sea weed. The sea around the coastal regions is just the right environment for seaweed to grow abundantly. In this way the people too gain good health eating it and improve their standard of living as the world's demand for sea weed or kelp keep increasing every year.

Sometimes I dream of drinking the seaweed and pork bone soup after I return to Malaysia.
We enjoyed our tour of Nang Nik Island and would like to visit it again!
