Fang Bing Gui (Huong Bing Guoi) was born in Fuzhou in 1930. He had been engaged in folk culture research in Fuzhou City for over 50 years.
He had given talks on radio and had presided over the Fuzhou TV station.
He had been a household name for many years. And his books had become very famous.
He had made good connections with the Foochows of Sibu and is often visited by Foochows from Sibu.
