My grand uncles, maternal grandfather and relatives.
The primary school set up by my Grand Uncle, Su Lai Primary School. Now resited in Sibu.
This could be one of the earliest Su Lai Primary School photos.
The school MOTTO.要立志做大事,不要立志做大官」
In the photo are my mother, sister and their peers. Mr. Lee Diu Sing, an uncle is seen wearing a dark suit. For this formal photo, probably all the students were asked to wear white, although at that time the school did not impose on wearing of school uniforms. Most students came to school barefooted.

My brother used to be a teacher at Su Lai Upper Lanang!
So I wonder if the new Su Lai Primary School still tries to document its own history and capture great moments of the history...Praise God for all who have helped in the formation of new generation.
