Disappearing Sibu : The Plank Walk
I wonder how many people would remember running on two piece plank walk?
I remember I used to be quite scared of walking on two piece plank walk. My grandmother's village had many houses which could only be reached by plank walks from the main road (which could only be a cement path)
Nowadays all the down river houses on the banks of the Rajang River have been washed away by the waves of the express boats in the late 80's..
Good bye to my grandmother's house too where I spent many happy holidays.
