Plaie - Wood for Making Sape
This is a very soft wood found in Sarawak. The plaie has a soft wood which is very pliable and is highly valued especially bny people who make sape.
On the other hand the Japanese has been extracting the sap or latex of this tree for their pharmaceutical purposes. The sap is an ingredient for making of eye drops.
