In the Iban community, many mothers would get the leaves of the pegaga to make a cooling drink. Use a pestle and mortar to pound the leaves and squeese out the liquid for a cooling drink. Or just use a blender today to make a good drink, add ice and water. In Penang, this drink is sold by street hawkers. |
