Even traditional kuih moulds can become tourist attractions!!

To all who love Ang Koo Kueh!!

Here's a quiz....where do you think this photo was taken?

Answer : Three beautiful ang koo kuih moulds - bigger than men!! standing tall in a pedestrian mall in Xiamen...along the Chong Shan Road.....

Oh! Love these moulds. Very cute with head,feet and tail! Better than the std type without body parts. How size are the ang ko? Are they made in Sibu? Love to get some.

Hi Sunflower ..lots available in Miri and Sibu...these moulds are huge giant ones in Amoy|IXiamen) I really think they are very cute ...may be Melaka should have them too...

Yeah Nnana...they are tortiose...although some may have Chinese characters for long life or blessings.
Can't wait to give the answer...

heheheh, Singaporeans, West Malaysian give Ang Gu Kueh for full moon.

My cousin Hakka married Sibu foochow, they also gave ang gu kueh to friends. My friend made them. But my Uncle did not give me Ang Gu Kueh, as is not the cantonese custom. He gave me a big slab of SIEW YUK/roast pork.
