Some Chinese Sayings

Elders can remember wise sayings well and apply them appropriately even though many of them did not even go to school.

They had learned by listening to their elders and they pass wise sayings on to the next generation.

However three or four generations in Nanyang, many Overseas Chinese and some Mainland Chinese have modernised some old sayings using humour.

In the same way, modern day people can even write funny sayings and claim that they are from Coinfucius.
