Butcher Shop in Launceston - Fully Accredited

While spending a nice weekend with Miss Mona Pengelly we had a good time driving around Cornwall and picking up some really fresh food for our own home cooked meals. We decided we would become the resident Chinese cooks for her!!

Well we must go to the local butchers first and then Tesco's!! Philip Warren of Launceston is indeed very famous and we should look for local stuff too to familiarize ourselves. I do love the small family run shops. They have a special romantic feel about them. And they have a remarkable history too.

And check these out will you?? You cannot see Judy more amused and happier!!

The Warren family still farm at Launceston and use their home reared beef and pork in their shops at Launceston and Liskeard together with the livestock of numerous other small and organic farms on the margins of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

The little animals are dressed up in ribbons. And the butchers are a really cheery lot!!

At the door way we can get some parts for our pets with their special "treats". How kind!!

How wonderful it is to have a family butcher just minutes away from your dream cottage!!
