I have a great fascination for markets in any part of the world. That is where I find real people having a real life. Perhaps that is where I can feel the pulses of life.
Subiaco Market in Perth is no different. The fruits and the food of different ethnicities...and the brilliant flowers at their best displayed tastefully by the vendors strike a visitor tenderly. Looking at each item make you feel that you really want to live and be truly alive with the best nature can provide.
And the sweet smells of coffee...and the pastries!! What a nice way to spend a leisurely morning with your loved ones.

Hi Sarawakiana, Love the pics here, especially that hat store.
I collect caps and hats....
Already have more than 70 caps and hats....
I too love markets, more observing people apart from the wares on display.
You take good pics.....
Have fun, stay young.
Lee.
Very nice pics and nice display at the store :-)
how many hats did you buy?
Hi Uncle Lee...wow that's a lot of hats. My Australian friend (Deanna) has 96 hats and her children would not know what to do with them when she passes on....they would be worth a lot...and I did volunteer to keep them as souveniers if they should only want to give them away...Would you want a share?
Oh yes...I am a people watcher. And you have a spring in your steps too....God bless.
Thanks TP...I love the sun in Perth...the lights are good for photography...Every where you see good display...and fantastic creativity.
Ann
I bought one Outback straw hat with a good brand...and made in China.
I found one floppy hat in the Park late in the evening and decided to keep it...Made in China too. My friend said I could keep it ...finder's keeper. Smile....
Next time I will go again hatless and come home with more hats....
Did one of those two China teachers teach you to knit booties? I have to be grateful they taught me knitting though I didn't appreciate it at that time.
No Ann...unfortunately. I chose typing classes with Miss Fries and 4 H Club with Mr and Mrs Miller. Hence I know how to grow long beans and kang kong....I wonder why I did not learn to knit. But I love cross stitching...Will do patch work soon.
