One dish Clay Pot Meal - easy in Yunnan

Image may contain: 1 person, sitting and standing

It was lovely to be a woman photographer in the streets of Yunnan. Firstly you seem to be recognized as a foreginer and the hawkers smile more. When you ask for permission to take their photographs they were friendly and were happy to oblige, although some would welcome you to take photos of their food, but not their faces. The usual humility.

One very attractive dish was the one dish clay pot meal, which my friends and I shared. We ordered other foods as well.

Street photography was a joy in Yunnan. Praise God.
