Dr. Wu Meng Chao

Dr. Wu Meng Chao: 吴孟超; August 31, 1922 -  born in Minqing County, Fujian 

He spent his child hood in Sibu but went back to study in China when he was 16 years old

Todasy he is a world-famous Chinese hepatobiliary surgery scientist and surgeon, who is currently an acadamecian at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is generally considered as the "Father of Chinese Hepatobiliary Surgery", and has been awarded the State Preeminent Science and Technology Award, which is the nation's highest scientific prize in 2005 by president Hu Jintao.He is now working in the Second Military Medical University of China.

  He is editor of more than 20 kinds of medical publications. 

Besides he is a pioneer in china hepatobiliary surgery In 1958, he first proposed the liver anatomy of the chinese people  with very new ideas for liver surgery.

  He has written many famous nedical books related to liver problems.
