Rhapsody in Blue is a musical composition by George Gershwin for solo piano and jazz band written in 1924, which combines elements of classical music with jazz-influenced effects. The composition was orchestrated by Ferde Grofé three times, in 1924, in 1926, and finally in 1946.
My love for jazz music can be said to have started by Gershwin.
Jazz is a happy kind of music for my young ears in those days in Sibu. Later I was to enjoy a lot of musicals from records and cassette tapes.
Associated with my love for music ...I have the sad moments of having to throw out obsolete collections ....... More than 40 years later, I have to throw away a lot of video tapes and cassette tapes which have grown mouldy over time....
And then I enjoyed watching the Walt Disney cartoon movie, Fantasia 2000 with my children. We had a video too and we played it again and again.
