Three Cuisines

My Tiong family is a huge one spanning five generations in some lines. When there is a family or clan gathering - it is always a noisy one and more often than not merry and grand...very happening the younger generation would say...

Here's the tasty Chinese style fried Tang Hoon

A sample of some of the food that special evening - Hakka  and Foochow Cuisine mixed with Malaysian Cuisine. The food was magnificently fusion indeed!

Deep fried battered chicken

Above is Malaysian style fruit and vegetable rojak.

Deep fried Cod (Foochow Style)

Here Richard Tiong is walking in with our Tiong Clan elder - Aunty Ling. Next to her is son (Lau Mee Tiing)of our cousin Yew Ping.

And as usual there was so much food at the end of the feast we had to "tiong" back (Tiong is the foochow word for tah pau)
