Miniature Passion Fruit - Sayur Pop
This is a very edible wild vegetable. It is actually the wild passion fruit. The Ibans call it sayur pop.
Stir fried with ikan bilis, it is sweet and very appetising. However, one has to take time to pluck it in the secondary forest around one's house.
It is available near towns, in one's back yards and in most of the ulu places. The green fruits can be cooked as a separate dish. Just like peas.
