This fern is found on hilly slopes of Sarawak.

The Chinese sinseh will say that they are called " Cross Mountain Dragon" or "Bone Grass".
Medicinally, this fern can be filtered and used in Traditional Chinese medicine against rheumatism, hepatitis and dysentery.
A poultice made from the fern can be applied topically to bruises, scalds and burns.
Mixed with vinegar it is used to treat skin eruptions and abscesses.
Some people in the ancient days used the dried ferns to stuff cushions.
