Bell Guava ( Jambu Air)

Bell Guava is a very popular fruit in Sarawak. Its scientific name is Syzygium aqueum.

The Chinese call it Water Guava or Jambu ayer. The fruit has quite a variety of colours, from light green to yellow and even very red. It is bell shaped, waxy and crisp.




It is a species of cherry.
The flowers are beautiful.
